Closed sides - Fabseal®

Fabseal® uses a special technique to apply a thermoplastic material such as PVC, PU or PE to the side of the conveyor belt. This completely seals the fabric inside the belt and protects it from moisture and contamination by microbes, which makes it easier to maintain hygiene during the production process. This ensures a long service life for the conveyor belt and contributes to a better, consistent quality of your product, also in processes where mesh belts are used.

Mesh belts with Fabseal®

Due to their composition, it is difficult for most manufacturers to provide mesh belts with closed edges. With its specialist knowledge and experience, Bandtransport Europe has also developed a special Fabseal® for mesh belts. This exclusive adjustment makes the mesh belt extra hygienic and therefore even more suitable for applications in the food industry.
