Guide belts on the underside of the conveyor belt ensure precise guidance and absorb any transverse forces.
Spill edges on the top prevent products from falling off the belt and contribute to a safe and efficient process.
At Bandtransport Europe we supply guide ropes and spill edges loose or mounted on the belt, completely tailor-made and according to your specifications.

Customised steering strings – the right solution for every application
At BTE you will find an extensive range of steering strings in PVC, PU and PE, standard with a hardness between 60° Shore A (PVC) and approx. 90° Shore A (PU, PE, TPU).
In addition, we offer special PVC belts with a lower hardness (35°–55° Shore A). These remain flexible even at low temperatures and are suitable for smaller drum diameters.
For demanding applications we supply notched control strings made of Hytrel®, an extremely wear-resistant plastic. These strings are notched on our own notching machine exactly to your specifications, for a perfect fit to your process.
Our guide ropes are available separately per roll, but we can also mount them professionally and accurately on your conveyor belt, fully tailored to your wishes.
